Slab Edge Insulation

EnergyEdge® perfects concrete edge forming providing protected rigid perimeter insulation. Edge forming systems from EnergyEdge® perform multiple functions that speed up the construction process.

EnergyEdge® forming systems are extruded in an “E” shape with high-density R-10 EPS insulation serving three functions.

  1. They form the concrete slab and foundation edges.
  2. They remain in place to transition and protect concrete edges.
  3. They insulate the slab.

The end result is a concrete edge that is thermally isolated at its transition from below grade to the wall, with glazing and finishing systems resting on top.
